PhD student, Sarah Moulden, has curated a new in-focus exhibition at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery as an output of her AHRC Collaborative Doctorate Award.

Collaborative PhD Studentship
British Sporting and Animal Art, 1760-1840: A Critical History of its Production, Reception, Collection and Display. The University of East Anglia, in partnership with Tate, is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified applicant for a full-time collaborative PhD studentship critically re-evaluating the history of sporting and animal art in late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century Britain, for three years commencing 1 October 2014.
A Celebration of SIfA Research
On March 17, the School of Art History and World Art Studies hosted a reception in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts to celebrate the recent research activity of SIfA staff.
Well done the 2014 SIfA Presents team
Movement in Modernism, 28th February 2014, was a massive success. With over three hundred guests, eighty three artworks, and a talented troupe of young dancers and musicians, it was a truly unique experience.
Sisjac Fellowships 2014
SISJAC is offering 3-4 Fellowships for 2014-15, one for a maximum period of one year and two or three short-term Fellowships of three months to half a year each. These will take place between September 2014 and August 2015 and Fellows will be based at the headquarters offices in Norwich, UK.

The Sainsbury Centre's popular education programme has been awarded the prestigious Sandford Award which recognises excellence in heritage education.

SIfA and SADACC sign affiliation agreement
UEA has just signed a letter of intent which affiliates the South Asian Decorative Arts and Crafts Collection (SADACC) to the Sainsbury Institute for Art (SIfA) and foresees the development of a South Asian Centre along similar lines to the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures.
