Well done the 2014 SIfA Presents team

Movement in Modernism, 28th February 2014, was a massive success. With over three hundred guests, eighty three artworks, and a talented troupe of young dancers and musicians, it was a truly unique experience.

With huge thanks to the generous support of all sponsors, artists and other contributors, the team were able to raise £6000 for The Emma Jonathan Fund, which supports study-related travel for undergraduates from the School.

The Emma Jonathan Fund
The Emma Jonathan Fund is named after a History of Art student who died in an accident shortly before her graduation ceremony in 2008. Established in 2012-13 by students from the School of Art History and World Art Studies, the fund supports undergraduate study-related travel and postgraduate study in the School. Already the Emma Jonathan Fund has contributed to dissertation research for students at sites in Portugal and London, travel to Venice as part of a second-year module, and a School field trip to the exhibition ‘Houghton Revisited' at Houghton Hall. In 2014 students will be able to apply for funds for new modules with field trips to Cyprus and Amsterdam. Image: Emma (left) photographed on a UEA field trip to Venice in 2007
